Bear Mountain Employee Party

Last night we had our fall employee mixer at Bear mountain. Lots of food , It was good to see everyone. This is Gina she works in the accounting dept. We are both taking pictures she was looking into her camera and i am looking into mine.Had dinner with Jamie, Jenny, Heather and her husband, and Dee. We all work together during the summer time at Team Big Bear putting on Mountain Bike races.

This is Tami, Blaine and Larry. Later that night on his way home Blaine was in a car accident. He's OK but his car didn't do so well.

Vi Va Las Vegas

Drove to Las Vegas on Friday for a canoe race on Lake Las Vegas.

Paddled with some of the Dana Point Girls. Caren, April, Jonie, Tracy and Mel - Masters we got 2nd Team Big Island took 1st. Had some trouble with a few other canoes at the first turn. (8 changes from the start to the first turn with 4 other canoes not such a good race course.)

Got to camp out with Caren, Tracy and Mel on Friday in Lake Mead State Park about 5 minutes from the race site. Saturday the winds kicked up and blew our tent down so we packed up and stayed at a Hotel Boulder Station. Someone once told me to Max Bet everything i do so i did and guess what i won, Yippie!

It was a good weekend. I will be back next year. This was one of the cars that was parked at the race site just had to take a picture of it.

My First Bunco Game

My friend Jenny invited me to my very first Bunco game. That is her in the kitchen filling her plate. Well you show up to a house with about 15 other girls (yep everyone brings food) then you eat. You drink! (Melissa and Heather)

Big Bear on Fire Again

Yep, Big Bear is on fire once again. I took this photo right out side my door this evening.

Fire in the mountains

On saturday i dove all the way up the mountain . I was only 10 minutes away from being home when a fire broke out and they closed the road. So i had to drive all the way back down and around the back way to get home. A 2 hour drive home turned into a 5 hour drive.

Fun in Big Bear with the Girls

Dru, Julie, Cora, Rell and the dogs all came up to Big Bear for the day. Lots of hiking, hanging out by the lake and just good fun all day long.

A Moonlight Paddle on the lake

Went out with a few friends on a Moonlight paddle on Tuesday night. It started out cloudy and windy that day and turned out to be beautiful on the lake that evening.
